  Are you a business professional who is retired or ready to retire, but still want to contribute to the small business economy?

  Are you a small business owner or a working business professional and want to volunteer your expertise to help small businesses succeed?

  SCORE may be just the opportunity you are looking for. As a SCORE volunteer, you can help existing and emerging businesses succeed and grow. SCORE volunteers provide confidential one-to-one and team business counseling and mentoring as well as educational workshops and seminars. SCORE counselors also conduct online e-mail counseling directly from their homes or offices.

Provide Expert Leadership
As business leaders, you can volunteer and serve as a leader of this nationwide network of small business counselors. You can lead SCORE as a chapter committee chairperson or an officer of the chapter. You can use your skills to build a stronger SCORE by developing a chapter marketing campaign; creating an outreach program that expands community support; mentoring new volunteers; assisting with chapter fundraising efforts; and/or making presentations at workshops and seminars.

Who are SCORE Volunteers?
SCORE volunteers represent every facet of the business community. Some work or have worked as executives of both large and small companies, while others are or have been small business owners. Our experts also include volunteers with university, military or government experience. SCORE brings expertise from a wide range of business disciplines to the small business community.
